In Phoebe + Visham I simply can not imagine a more Canadian pairing. Visham’s Indian heritage and Phoebe’s Chinese background come together in a vibrant synergy, and you know their children are going to be beautiful. To this day, I can safely say I have never met an unattractive mixed-race child. It’s this kind of wedding and day that I get a real charge out of. With all the divisions at home and out in the world, it is reassuring to see that people are making their own decisions about life, their future, and the tone they wish to set for their lives despite external influences.
I so enjoyed shooting with Phoebe + Visham’s relaxed demeanour. I find I get the best results with people in this state, and while I normally do not include myself when posting, I truly enjoy showing couples the results we are achieving and seeing their reactions. Most of all, it helps build their confidence and establish trust during our sessions. Couples are able to relax in front of the camera a touch more, resulting in the imagery you see here.
